Qld’s role in the Pacific Step Up

Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s late 2018 announcement of the “Pacific Step-Up’’ aims to tie-in the region’s strategic and economic preparedness for future challenges. The Prime Minister also went further and suggested: Queensland and Brisbane are Australia’s “gateway to the Pacific”.
