Melbourne’s First Late Night Cultural Program
Mark Power assisted the City of Melbourne to produce the first late night program, which provided diverse and vibrant cultural programs that attracted visitors and residents until late into the night. In 2010 the City of Melbourne committed over $100,000 to five of Melbourne’s key festivals to support this initiative. The 2010 program produced 231 events/performances that ran from 11pm through to 8am. 9,656 people attended the late night events and 176 artists were been engaged in the program.
